Firm History
PTAM Founded
PT Asset Management, LLC (PTAM) was founded in 2008 by partners of its affiliate, Performance Trust Capital Partners LLC (PTCP). PTCP provides broker-dealer services for financial institutions, and saw an opportunity to take advantage of the dislocated credit markets in 2008 by leveraging its fixed income expertise and launching a hedge fund.
2008
Total Return Bond Fund
PTAMs first mutual fund, the Performance Trust Total Return Bond Fund, is launched.
2010
Municipal Bond Fund
The Performance Trust Municipal Bond Fund is launched.
2011
Mutisector Bond Fund
The Performance Trust Multisector Bond Fund is launched.
2020
$6.95 Billion in Assets
As of December 31, 2023, PTAM manages approximately $6.95 billion in assets across multiple products, including mutual funds and separately managed accounts for institutional investors.
2023
Short Term Bond ETF
PTAMs first ETF, the Performance Trust Short Term Bond ETF, is anticipated to launch.
