Mohammed Murad
Director, municipal credit research

Mohammed has served as the Head of the Municipal Credit Research Team at PTAM since 2020 and is Senior Analyst on High Yield credit. He leads a team responsible for multi-sector credit evaluation, selection, and monitoring in both the investment grade and high yield space, supporting municipal investments across PTAM funds.

Prior to joining PTAM, Mohammed held roles in both New York and Chicago as Vice President in asset management at Goldman Sachs and Northern Trust, Associate Director at Fitch Ratings, and in consulting where he focused on airport financial services, and healthcare financial improvement. Mohammed holds an MBA from Cornellā€™s Johnson School; MPA from NYU Wagner; a joint MSc in International Finance from University of Westminster (U.K.) and SKEMA Business School (France) and BCom from Concordia University (Canada). He holds FINRA series 7,63, and 52 and is a Board Member of the Chicago Municipal Analyst Society. Mohammed is fluent in Arabic and French.
